I signed up to Twitter a while back, but this weekend I finally started to follow a few people. Twitter has a feature called “Recommended Users” which recommends users to new users to follow. One of these people was Felicia Day (@feliciaday), an actress who has had roles in Buffy among others. Turns out she is a huge gamer and has written and starred in a web show called “The Guild“.
The show is a comedy about a MMORPG guild and its members. I watched the first two seasons of the show in one night and found it quite funny. The characters are quite satirical and maybe a bit stereotypical but I think most gamers would totally be able to relate to most of it. So if you haven’t seen it yet, you should check it out, especially if you are a gamer or know a gamer.
Even though I haven’t played World of Warcaft in almost four years, watching the show actually made me a bit itchy to play it again! Too bad I don’t have the time
